There are a lot of places to find free or cheap food.  If you are a senior, check out the Senior Citizen centers in the area.  Most of them have really cheap hot lunches available (you usually have to sign up or join the center).  Some cities and counties have hot cheap lunches also available.  These are usually really cheap, like $2 or under for a nice lunch.  Also check out the churches, as many of them have free food days where they serve a really nice dinner for homeless or “travellers”.  In some areas the churches will rotate serving free dinners, one week it will be a Catholic Church, next week the Methodist Church, etc.  Be sure to thank them, these nice people of all faiths are usually volunteers and do their best to help those in need – THAT’S YOU – so be grateful for their good works.
